Why Instagram Aesthetics = More Bookings

Instagram is a visual platform, but people connect with realness, not perfection. Taking a photo you genuinely like and posting it will almost always perform better than forcing every image to fit a rigid format.

You also don’t need a strict, repetitive theme across every post. Let your creativity flow. Nail art is art and your Instagram should reflect that. Variety keeps your feed interesting and allows your style to evolve naturally.

That said, you can still create cohesion without limiting yourself:

  • Choose brand colours for logos or highlights.
  • Create three pinned posts at the top of your profile that introduce your vibe and style.
  • Maintain a similar mood or aesthetic without copying the same pose every time.

This approach creates a feed that feels professional but not forced helping you gain followers, build trust, and attract clients who genuinely love your work!

The Difference in Instagram Feeds

When it comes to growing your Instagram organically, your content should feel natural, not like an advertisement.Organic photos feel more trustworthy, relatable, and real, which makes people far more likely to follow you, engage with your posts, and eventually book in with you.

As you can see in the image below, there’s a clear difference between the two feeds.
One side shows my feed where photos are taken naturally at different angles, different poses, different lighting - simply capturing what looks good in the moment. This style feels effortless, creative, and inviting.

My other feed looks very staged: same pose in every photo, same positioning, same layout. While it may seem “clean” or “on theme,” it often comes across as robotic, repetitive, and unflattering. It doesn’t show personality, and it doesn’t feel relatable, which can actually push potential clients away instead of drawing them in.

When you stop chasing perfection and start showing up authentically, your content becomes more than just aesthetic, it becomes a true reflection of your brand, and that’s what people genuinely connect with!
